The retaining wall as proposed will be <br />constructed from treated cedar timbers in two tiers, located in the same area as the existing <br />wall made from railroad ties. The proposed wail as shown is acceptable in regards to <br />engineering matters. <br />Prior to starting the work, proper erosion control procedures must be in place, such as silt <br />fence. Shortly after the work is completed, the disturbed areas should be sodded or seeded <br />with a suiuble ground cover. If the slope directly north of the stairway is disturbed, an <br />erosion control mat should be used to control erosion until the ground cover is <br />reestablished. <br />Please contact me at this office if you have any questions regarding this matter. <br />Yours very truly, <br />BONESTROO.
