The former owner had <br />received approval for a renewal variance in December of 1993 for a 22 ’ x 20 ’ detached garage <br />within the street yard of the property. The new garage will encroach no closer than the <br />previously approved locations of the garages in the former variance application. <br />In exchange for increasing the size of the detached garage, the applicant and new owner <br />has agreed to remove the 10’ x 12 ’ shed in the rear yard. <br />The Planning Commission recommended unanimous approval of the variance as amended, <br />subject to applicant removing the 10’ x 12 ’ storage shed in the rear yard upon completion of the <br />new construction. <br />The enclosed approval resolution has been drafted per the findings and conditions of the <br />Planning Commission recommendation.
