If not, we are proud <br />to announce that we have won first place in the Senior <br />Center Acbieve.nent Award for the state of Minnesota and came <br />in second place in the nationals. These awards were in the <br />category of Community Partnerships. We were honored in <br />April at the National Conference on Aging in Washington, DC <br />for our national award and will receive our state <br />recognition on Friday, May 20th at the Minnesota Board on <br />Aging meeting in St. Paul. <br />These achie/eraents would not have been possible without <br />the help of all of our funders, sponsors and our two <br />business partners..Meisel Hardware and CR Manufacturing. We <br />would like to officially celebrate these honors on a local <br />level with our elected officials and dignitaries and invite <br />you to attend a brief ceremony at 7:00 p»a on Monday, May <br />23rd at the Westonka Senior Center, 5600 Lynwood Boulevard <br />in Mound. We will have a chance to show our gratitude to <br />all of you for the many years of confidence you have shown <br />to us.
