Box 66
Orono, MN 55323
Attn: Mike Gaffron
Re: 139-1919 TY Bucey
2677 Casco Point Rd.
Dear Mike:
We have tevicwed the site dnunage on the Bucey property. Hie proposed gi^g plan ^
would direct drainage fioffl the entire site north then weK to the lake across the neighbor s
(Shutt's) property.
We recommend that the existing drainage patterns be followed after construction of the new
home, nte diainagc should be split with the south half of the property being directed to the
west The north half of the property can continue to drain onto the Shuns* property as it has
in the put, provided there i» no ohjection by the Shutu. The Biiceys wwW hive the option
of directing the drainage from the north half west on their property. This would ret^ire
addiUonal excavation in the 0-75 ’ area and may cause more problems with erosloo of the
lakeshore bank on their property.
We do not feel directing the roof leaders to the street would improve the area drainage. The
street drainage is a problem at this time, and addition water would make the situation worse.
The erosion potential from storm water runoff in this area is very sensitive. We would
recommend minimizing the changes that alter the direction of runoff from the property.
If you have any questions, please contact this office.
Yours very truly,
BONESTROO, ROSENE, ANDERUK, A ASSOCIATES, INC.
Glenn R.
