S 3 ^ _____ <br />A RESOLUTION GRANTING PRELIMINARY <br />APPROV AL OF A CLASS HI SLTBDIVISION <br />FOR A PROPERTY LOCATED AT <br />2590 WATERTOWN ROAD <br />- FILE NO. 1862 <br />WHEREAS, Three Star Trucldns. on August 27,1993, filed a formal subdivision <br />application with the Cit>’ for approval of an eighl lot residential plat of propem’ legally described <br />as: <br />The West 1/4 of the Southeast 1/4 of the Southeast 1/4 of Section ,j3. Township 118 <br />North Ranoe 23 West of the Fifth Principal Meridian, also that pan of said Southeast <br />1/4 of the Southeast 1/4 which lies East of the West 1/4 of said Southeast 1/4 of the <br />Southeast 1/4, and which lies West of the East 20 acres of said Southeast 1/4 of the <br />Southeast 1/4, Hennepin County. Minnesota (hereinafter the propertv’ ), and <br />WHEREAS, after due published and mailed notice in accordance with Minnesota <br />Statutes 462 358 et. seq. and the Citv of Orono’s Zoning and Subdivision Codes, the Orono <br />Planning Commission held a public hearing on September 20, 1993, at which time all persons <br />desiring to be heard concerning this application were given the opportunity to speak thereon, an <br />WHEREAS, at their regular meeting held on February 14, 1994, the Orono City <br />Council considered the subdivision application of Three Star Trucking, noting the followmg <br />findings of fact: <br />1 "Tie property is located within the RR-IB Single Family Rural Residential Zoning <br />District requiring a minimum of two acres of contiguous dry buildable land withm <br />each newly created lot. <br />2. The property contains a total of approximately 19+ acres, with .89 acres of wet <br />area. <br />.,^3.
