All required submittals have been received, including the drainage <br />easement granted by Peter and Lois Fossen, owners of Lots 2 and 3, Block 2, Daniels Long <br />Lake Heights. Truffula Trail was approved by Council as the road name for the private road. <br />The City has yet to receive payment for the stop sign and street sign ($75.00 each, total fee <br />$150.00). <br />The only issue that staff feels needs to be addressed is the issue of access to Lot 8, the <br />farm homestead parcel. During the subdivision review of Application #1683, the original three <br />lot subdivision application of Mr. Suess, Council approved use of the existing paved drive <br />serving the farm. Review Resolution No. 3045, Exhibit E. Pages 1-2. This matter was never <br />discussed during the current review of the eight lot plat. The applicant and future owner, Rob <br />Suess, Jr., had assumed this matter was already resolved for any subdivision of this property. <br />Plat documents have been written to include only Lots 1-7 shared ownership and use ct plat <br />road. The final plat resolution provides the necessary findings for approving separate accj-'s for <br />Lot 8. Please review Exhibits C and D-1-2, driveway would have to be located to the south of <br />the residence as the existing and alternate drainfield sites are located to the immediate north of <br />the residence and the garage. <br />Staff Recommendation <br />Staff recommends the adoption of the enclosed approval resolution. <br />COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED: <br />To adopt or amend the enclosed approval resolution.
