Attached <br />is a complete copy of Ordinance #246 as adopted last <br />December 30, 1982. <br />The Power Squadron's non-residential use of this property has <br />existed as an unlisted, non-conforming use under all previous <br />zoning ordinances for the Island. The new "RS" Seasonal zoning <br />now includes special provisions that specifical?.y authorize <br />this type of property use on the islands as a conditional use <br />permit. As discussed at the various meetings, i\ was the <br />intent of the Council and this ordinance to recog, ize and <br />authorize your type of property use and to use it ’s the basis <br />for developing standards to apply to any similar pinperty uses <br />that might occur in the future. <br />Please refer to ordinance section 34.363(c) for specific regula­ <br />tions now in effect. As with other conditional use permits, and <br />pursuant to Minnesota Statutes 462.3595, a formal City Council <br />resolution (permit) will be adopted and filed in the chain of title <br />of the property to specify the nature and extent of existing use. <br />In order to expedite this work, would you please take time to <br />respond to the following as appropriate; <br />1. Verify the correct tax parcel PID number as shown on the <br />attached blue form (#1) .
