Gerhardson . <br />Title Public Works Director <br />Administrator Reviewed: <br />//, <br />Agenda Sectteri^: <br />Item Description: Burlington Northem/City of Orono Agreement <br />Attached for review and approval is an agreement between Burlington Northern Railroad and <br />the City of Orono for the replacement of the Old Crystal Bay Road Bridge. <br />Language in the agreement relates to a permanent easement which Burlington Northern will <br />grant to the City for an amount of $2,500. <br />In addition. Burlington Northern is requesting reimbursement for estimated expenditures in the <br />amount of $1,851 for flagging, temporary construction crossing if needed, inspection of <br />construction by railroad personnel and track restoration if required. <br />All of the above costs are reimbursed by MSA. <br />COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED: <br />Motion to approve the agreement with Burlington Northern Railroad related to the replacement <br />of the Old Crystal Bay Road Bridge.
