The City of Orono ordains that axle weight limits are restricted on the following streets in the <br />City of Orono from March 15, 1994 tlirough May 15, 1994 in accordance with regulations as <br />provided in Chapter 6.11 of the Orono Municipal Code. No refuse collections vehicles shall <br />be operated during the seasonal restriction time where the gross weight on any single axle <br />exceeds 14,000 lbs. and no vehicles shall be operated upon any City street at any time where <br />special posting specifically prohibits refuse collection vehicles. <br />An axle limit exemption to public service vehicles namely Northern States Power Company, <br />Wright-Hennepin Cooperative, Miimegasco, U.S. West Communication, Triax Cable and septic <br />tank service companies that when responding to an emergency are hereby exempt from posted <br />axle weight limit restrictions on City streets.
