1 B <br />Zoning Variation Request <br />2240 Shadywood Road, Orono <br />Christine Arko Freeman <br />Because of the narrow width of the site and the house <br />location to the center of the site we must request a zoning <br />variation to accomodate the indicated addition. From <br />a functional standpoint the location shown on the drawings <br />is the only reasonable possibility that will serve the <br />owners' needs. We think the impact on the neighbors* <br />property ( to the west ) is minimal as care was taken to <br />protect any views from the house and the building height <br />was kept to a minimum. <br />Another relevant condition of the property is that the <br />house to the West is within the required 10’ sideyard <br />setback.
