Gerhardson, Public Works Director <br />Januiry 6, 1994 <br />Reprogramming FuikIs Community Development Block Grant <br />In 1992, year X\1II of the Community Development Block Grant program, the City of Orono <br />allocated $2,736 to Park planning. Cities have 18 months to use the monies or they must <br />reprogram or lose the funds. <br />The deadline for use of ttesc funds was December 31, 1993. <br />In order to reprogram the fimas, we must comiuct a public hearing and reallocate the funds to <br />another project from that same year. <br />The only ongoing project from that same year is Housing Rehabilitation. <br />I have prepared a draft public hearing notice for Council review and approval for a public <br />hearing to be conducted on February 14, 1994 at 7:30 p.m.
