The term for all current Cable Commissioners expires in <br />January 1994. <br />The Joint Powers Agreement in Article V, Section 1 (see attached), <br />requires each city to submit written notice of their appointments or <br />re-appointments for the upcoming year (please note the Joint Powers <br />8Ays that at least one of the t%io Cable Commissioners must <br />be a member of the city council). This notice, directed to the <br />Secretary of the Cable Commission, is required to include the current <br />name, mailing address and telephone number of each appointee. 11 is <br />to be received no later than January 31, 1994. <br />As the Lake Minnetonka Cable Communications Commission has filed all <br />necessary paperwork to once again regulate the basic cable rates, and <br />also issued ’♦formal comylaints" with the Federal Communications <br />Commission (FCC) on Triax Cablevision's operations, the upcoming 1994 <br />will be a busy year of challenge. <br />If you have any questions, you can call <br />Administrator, at 474-5539. <br />Regards, <br />LAKE MINNETONKA CABLE COMMUNICATIONS COMMISSION <br />Ann C.
