CONOVER <br />The sharp upward trend in the assessed valuation of our property <br />Is such that we are being put into the position of "being forced <br />to sell" because of the significant resulting tax from the <br />excessive valuation. <br />If I may speculate, I assume you might ask, <br />(1)Do we intend to offer our house for sale because of <br />our concerns as expressed above, <br />and. <br />Would we sell our home at the "proposed valuation". <br />is "yes" if there is no significant modificationOur answer to (1) <br />in the proposed assessment, and our answer to (2) is also "yes", <br />we would sell at the proposed valuation if that is the best offer <br />we receive. <br />We regret that we have been forced into this position and request <br />that the proposed Increase in valuation for 1995 on cur property <br />at 1489 Shoreline Drive be eliminated in its entirety so we may <br />have the option of continuing to live in our present home. <br />Sincerely, <br />Elmer S.
