MN. 55323 <br />Re: Proposed Addition to <br />Washington Scientific Industries <br />Dear Tom: <br />We are writing with regard to the additional Information you requested <br />concerning the height and exterior appearance characteristics of the <br />proposed Washington Scientific addition. <br />The height of the existing building Is 16 feet. The new addition will be <br />approx. 23 feet high (Including the parapet height). Since Highway 12 <br />rises west of the site we feel this additional height will be a benefit by <br />avoiding an eye-level view of the roof. <br />The materials proposed for the exterior walls will comply with Orono <br />requirements (brick, decorative block or equivalent quality facia panels) <br />and the materials and color will be selected to blend with the existing <br />plant for a unified look. <br />Yours truly. <br />THE VOGT CORPORATION <br />'y: <br />Edward J.
