m <br />MittSi. <br />’.Si*! <br />• ? <br />. i <br />O QQ <br />V V .? ..V O j?May 24, 1988 <br />To: Orono City Planning Conmlttee <br />FROM: Grace Baptist Church of Navarre <br />■ K.affVK^n^pt'rraa <br />DESCRIPTION REQUEST <br />Grace Baptist Church is requesting permission to expand our <br />present parking lot and to surface it with black top (as p 'r the <br />proposed drawing). <br />It is our purpose to improve the property we have as well as <br />take parked cars off County ^Rbad 19 during our meetings (especially <br />after the anticipated improvements by Hennepin County). <br />We are requesting a variance in regards to parking spaces: <br />According to Orono City Ordinance, Section>10.61, Subdivision 10.E, <br />the number of parting spaces required (based on the number of seating <br />in our sanctuary), would be 65. We are requesting 41 spaces at this <br />time. This is due primarily to cost and need. Our church attendance <br />does not warrant (at this time) any mom parking spaces.
