The Planning Commiaaion racommandad denial of tha <br />deep cut to create a walk-out whila recommanding approval for a ground- <br />level deck eree in exchange for removal of the exiating patio deck near the <br />lakeshore. In January 1918, the Council voted 4-0 to deny the walk-out <br />excavation, finding no valid hardahip to support its approval. The Council <br />failed to eddresa the iaaue of additional hardcover easociated with the <br />ground-level deck. <br />Applicant then Bulaaitted a revised proposal for grading, which would <br />cut approximately halt of the lakeshore yard down to s depth of 3 below <br />the existing surfa''#.
