Out comments on each application follow.
The upgrading and replacemet>t of sewer lines Is mainly a concern of
the DNP Lands Bureau. The Division of Waters will have a chance to
comment through the Bureau of Lands license procedure. Preliminary
indications are that Impacts to protected waters will be minimal
because the sewer line Is mostly beneath the existing roadway.
W^sv* v ’:.a
SiSaiiSSi
vA-v-.vr ,'.
According to the plans received March 3t 1988t the Ehlerc house
addition does not encroach below the 931eO’ elevation. Since the
Flood Insurance Rate Map (enclosed) and the City of Orono’s Flood
Ordinance consider elevation 931 the 100 year flood elevation, we have
no floodplain concerns* (We
Creek WSD uses 931.5 as the 100 year flood elevation.)
understand howeve^ that the Minnehaha
y
>-;A
The application for vacation of roads along the southeast shore of
Forest Lake does not raise any protected waters concerns.
Thank you again for the opportunity to review these projects.
