The property ovner is <br />currently using the pond in Lot 1 and the wetlands in outlet A and B for <br />•grieultural purposes. <br />The pond in Lot 1 has been created by placing a berm aeroee the west tide of a <br />ravine. The pood has been axeavated to a depth of about ten feet, the drainage <br />area flowing to the pond is approximately 3 acres which would not norma-Uy be <br />adequate to keep vater in a pood of this lisa. The property ovner has diverted <br />drainage to the pond from his greenhouse operations to provide core water. <br />The pond in Lot 1 serves a minimal purpose in the overall drainage echeme. Ve <br />would recomend that the a drainage easement be provided over the pond. Ve would <br />also recommend that the property ovner be allowed to use the pond vater for <br />agriculture purposes as he has in the past. <br />The Wetlands in outlet A and B have been excavated over the past 30 years '.o <br />provide planting soil. Xt appears that about 3000 cubic yards of Peat has been <br />removed from the Vetlande. <br />The excavation of ponding areas vlll erhanca wildlife and imprL;ve vater <br />storage. Ve would recommend that the excavation be allowed for agricultural <br />purposes.
