Once again, a
temporary cul-de-sac was to be located within the roadway/drive—
way. The applicants have asked to be rescheduled before the
Planning Commission co once again discuss the southern property
owner's attempt through a $20,000 fee per lot, to negate the
early planning decisions of the City to create a future linking
network of private reads to be taken v-ver by the City when roads
"qualify" for public maintenance.
It is not clear what plan the applicants wish us to act on
as revised plans have not been submitted with the current letter
the City. Please note the original plan showed private
di^iveways extending through the north line of the Wear
subdivision to the two new lots. Applicants should be advised
that if this is to be an extension of a private road or a future
public road, that the roadway must be constructed at the same
standards for Wear Lane North with a temporary cul-de-sac within
the subject property. it may also be required that the
applicants remove the existing cul-de-sac. The City Engineer
will be asked to comment on the status of the existing cul-de-sac
within Wear Lane if a private/public road is to be extended to
the north.
Review
specifically
7-13
Chapter 7 of the Community Management Plan,
the rural transportation policies, CMP 7-11 through
;\/'v
mj;i
r’ '' ■
r:
'SS«|«
WM
A
PvV';:i :v-/; v; ' f
h - :: y- ■
m:L:m
*fnv:■ 'Ij
■ •
ii
W K
