Mianoaota S5323*Mttakt:Ml OCBoesOn the North Shore of Lake Minnetonka
January 24, 1989
James Lindbled, Grounds Superintendent
Nayzata Country Club
200 Wayzata Boulevard
Wayzata, HH 55391
Re: Proposed Pond on Bole #12
Dear Jim:
I have reviewed Zoning Piles #935 and #1012 for the purpose of
determining whether the pond on Hole #12 was ever approved for
construction. You referred to Item 4 (B) of the memo of April 10,
1986. This memo deals with Application #935 and recommends tr. the
City Council that the pond on Bole #6 and the pond on Hole #12 should
be the subject of conditional uae permit application #1012 which at
that time was on hold pending design work by your engineer. These 2
projects were specifically omitted from Resolution #1977 which
resulted from application #935.
Application #101- had been filed on February 20, 1986, and was
followed up by my nemo of March 11, 1986 to the Planning Commission
suggesting that the item be tabled until additional Informa-lon ^ss
submitted for the ponds on Bole #12 and #6. Nothing else occurred in
that application until January 1987 and at that time had been revised
to include lust the pond at Hole #6 plus maintenance dredging of
ditches between Holes #10, 11 and 12 and between Holes #15 and 18.
There was no discussion occurring regarding the pond on Hole #12, and
we never received engineering work from you for the pond on Hole #12.
Finally, Resolution #2118 that resulted from application #1012,
makes no mention of the pond on Hole #12. I would also note for the
record that our file contains a survey of the proposed pond area on
Hole #12 but does not go into detai 1 as far as a design for that poM.
I can only conclude that none of the prior approvals included the
proposed pond on Hole #12, hence a new application should be submitted
along with additional engineering work for the proposed pond. If you
like, I will be happy to meet with you to go over the application
requirements, and my Initial reaction is that '^^^#.‘**.5
relatively routine review, but the scheduling may be problematic if
you wish to proceed this winter.
BUILOiMC a ZONING - 473-7357
ASSESSING
AOMINlStHATlON 4 FINANCE - 473-7J58 PUBLIC WORKS - 473-7359
v ‘.'.:= :vv ^•
mmm
pps
1::^’■' ;;; | v"'-. 4"
SB' ■
' v '
mSmmmimm,*.a
m-\ma
i
ifiiamai
ai/mM
-..am
. • -
'■PP'
hePPr : 'SlPP\;: ■ :>■ ; .■■?.
jp: ’t:.. :■'a-r-a^ipY
. • ■-
■■ ■ :. ■.:T-9-.
■': : ' • ■.
)«■ ■ r :.. ,f:.. ....■■:
f':
>•; •' --.I;'!'.'
. • .:■■. • 1 •'
" •■ ' :V*: ‘K',
/ /'mmpa ' Y/rn:/:/ /mm
m4:;. ■4..
-
