The current residence is <br />located approximately 70* from the defined street right-of-way <br />center line of Townline Road). Proposed <br />addition will extend or encroach no further into the substandard <br />setback area. Both the lot and the house existed prior to the <br />ra-iA 5 acre zoning district standards. In 1977, (review Exhibit <br />H), Council approved a setback variance for an animal barn <br />l^ated 20 from the north lot line based on the substandard lot <br />wiatne <br />Review of hardships and additional findings: <br />1. Steep topography to immediate rear of house would require <br />excessive filling to provide access to garage addition. <br />2. Existing accessory improvements at rear of house would <br />prevent garage attachment at the rear. The location of the <br />tanks/drainfield to the east of existing residence also places <br />an additional hind' ranee on expansion to rear. <br />3.
