Lot 1 contains an existing house with existing trench type <br />drainfield. An alternate site has been tested to the North of the existing <br />hous6 &nd is suitabl© for a mound system. The existing trench driinfield <br />appears to be functioning adequately now during the dry weatlier; our <br />records indicate that this system has been a problem in the past and <br />ultimately will require replacement in staff's opinion, in the relatively <br />near future. <br />Proposed Lot 2, as shown on the preliminary plat, was determined by the <br />applicant ’s site evaluator to not contain suitable sites for septic <br />systems. The site evaluator has recommended that an additional area from <br />proposed out lot A be incorporated into Lot 2. That proposed area cc^prises <br />approximately 1.3 additional acres. Staff concurs with this <br />recommendation, and notes that Lot 2, as it is V/. <br />severely limited building envelope without this additional acreage. <br />Appplicant has agreed to this revision. <br />The aApplicantn have provided septic testing within the proposed Outlot A.
