Mabusth, Building & Zoning Administrator <br />Date:June 16. 1993 <br />Subject: #1834 Mary McCarty, 245 Tonka Avenue/Variances - Public Hearing <br />Zoning District: LR-IA, Lakeshore Residential <br />Applicant has applied for a lot area and lot width variance for a substandard property <br />located in the Stubbs Bay sewer district. Two commonly owned substandard lots located to the <br />immediate north are soon to be placed on the tax forfeit list and will be available for sale to the <br />public. Substandarc lots that appear on tax forfeit rolls are required by the City to be available <br />to sale only to adjacent property owners. It is the purpose of the applicant to receive variance <br />approvals so that the sale of the property can be completed. Mrs. McCarty has been advised <br />by the County that when parcels are released for sale if she is not the current owner that she will <br />not receive written notice of their availability. The current application does not involve setback <br />variances as it is really applicant's desire to wait until parcels to the north are combined with <br />subject property before designing a future residence. The following ordmances are pertinent to <br />the review: <br />1.
