The conditional use permit should be for school <br />use with all associated prograee a:id activities Including pre­ <br />school child care and continuing the present uses. <br />The present use of the building is for "Orono Rare For Kids <br />School Age Child Care Prograe" and "Orono Coaaunity Church." The <br />child care program serves children kindergarten through Sth grade <br />before and after school, on release days, and during the summer. <br />The Orono ComsMinity Church rents the pastors office full time and <br />uses the rest of facility on Wednesday evenings and Sundays. <br />This facility is an extension of th«* District's campus <br />operations. The potential use of the facility could be as varied <br />as our present buildings. Any of our existing programs may be <br />housed at that location in the future. Some of the potential uses <br />of the building in the immediate future may be: <br />Preschool Classes: providing enrichment <br />etc. for preschool age children, classes <br />morning hours. <br />in music, art, <br />would be held during the <br />Middle school Student Droo-In Center: providing after school <br />enrichment and recreational programming for students grades 5th <br />through 8th, hours would be 2:45 pa to 5:00 or 5:30 pm. <br />High School Student Droo-Tn Center: a youth center offering a <br />variety of enrichment and recreational programs such as: <br />tournaments (ping-pong, volleyball, etc.) big screen TV, music - <br />coffeehouse, youth issue foxnims, youth service projects, support <br />groups, study nights, cnaperoned trips, theme nights, classes, <br />etc., houra would be 1-3 nights per week, possible 7-l0 pa and <br />weekends 7-11:30 pa. <br />Evening Adult Education Site: various adult education classes may <br />be held at this site such as: CED, family literacy, enrichment, <br />etc. <br />District Meetings or Staff Development Activities: Daytime or <br />evening meetings for staff. <br />facility Rental: this site may be rented for activities such as <br />meetings, birthday parties, scouts, government groups, etc. as <br />with all our existing facilities.
