Pro <br />Tire & Exhaust has been a great success to date and tor this rea­ <br />son. we are looking to expand. The proposed biulding site is bet­ <br />ween Bill Wears (Orono Self Serve) ana Cliff Ottens (Ottens Bros <br />Nursery ). <br />The only drawback to our business has been a lack of visibil­ <br />ity, traffic flow, and especially space. Being on highway 12 would <br />give us the visibility needed to serve this areas needs and also <br />to double our business in 1-2 years. <br />Our business includes selling Tires. Exhaust (both Stock and <br />Custom). Alignments. Shocks. Struts, Trailer Hitches and Oil Chang­ <br />es. In a new facility we ..ould add Brakes to our Services. We do <br />not perform engine or transmission repairs, thereby eliminating e <br />greasy, junk accumulating mess associated with those types of repairs. <br />Most repairs are completed the same day or the vehicle arriving so we <br />would not have vehicles stored for extended periods. As tor the was­ <br />te issue, all junk tires would be stored neatly out of . <br />the building with -egular scheduled pickups by liscensed haulers. Old <br />oil and filters would be stored properly above ground and disposed or <br />by liscensed haulers. <br />Currently our business hours are Monday thru Friday <br />6:00 p.m. and Saturday 8:00 a.m.- 1:00 p.m.. In a new facility we <br />would extend our hours to Monday thru Friday 8:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m. <br />and Saturday 8:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.. <br />Because the nature of our business is such that we do not typ­ <br />ically see our customers 1-2 times a year we need the high visibi­ <br />lity of the highway and it’s traffic count in order for our busi­ <br />ness to thrive. We believe that the proposed location would easily <br />double our business within 1-2 years and hopefully triple in 3 years <br />thereby generating substantial revenues both for our business and <br />the cities. <br />We welcome any Questions or concerns that you may have while <br />deciding on our request. <br />Once again.
