Long Lake <br />/ <br />X <br />1, Description <br />Long Lake (294 acres) is located in the northern half of <br />the City of Orono and is the second largest isolated <br />body of water within the city boundaries. The entire <br />watershed area is approximately 4,900 acres in size with <br />about 1,950 acres (40%) located in the Cities of Orono <br />and Long Lake, and about 2,950 acres located in Medina <br />(see Figure 9). <br />Long Lake receives flows from a chain of lakes and <br />marshes in Medina and two small lakes in Orono.
