r <br />L <br />CITY of ORONO <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CTTi' COUNCIL <br />NO, 8 3 8 8 <br />A RESOLUTION GRANTING <br />A VARIANCE TO <br />MLTSTCIPAL ZONING CODE <br />SECTION 10.25, SUBDIVISION 6 (B) <br />FILE #1893 <br />WHEREAS, Christine Arko Freeman (hereinafter "the applicant") is owner of <br />the property located at 2240 Shady wood Road within the City of Orono (hereinafter "City ') and <br />legally described as follows: <br />Lot 8, Block 1, Wiley’s Park. Hennepin Count}'. Minnesota (hereinafter "the property"); <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the applicant has applied to the City for a variance to Municipal <br />Zoning Code Section 10.25, Subdivision 6 (B) to permit the constniction of a 10 ’ x 28’6" <br />addition to the northwest side of the existing residence to be located 6’7" from side lot line <br />instead of the required 10 ’. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Orono, <br />Minnesota: <br />FINDINGS <br />1. This application was reviewed as Zoning File #1893. <br />2.The property is located in the LR-IC, Lakeshore Residential Zoning District <br />requiring 1/2 acre or 21,780 s.f. in area. The property consists of 16,203 s.f. <br />3.The Orono Planning Commission reviewed this application on January 18, 1994, <br />and recommended approval of the proposed variance based upon the following <br />hardships and unique findings: <br />Page 1 of 5 <br />1
