In a
3-3 vote the Planning Commission was unable to affect a legal vote. Your application will be
scheduled before the Planning Commission at their June 20th meeting and staff will schedule
your application before the Council at the June 27th meeting. By placing your application on
the June 27th Council agenda, you will sustain only a two week delay than if you were approved
for a more abbreviated review. You are advised to file your building permit application now
so that a permit can be issued on June 28th for the proposed new construction.
Prior to the June 20th meeting of the Planning Commission, you will receive a copy of the
agenda and the staff memo reviewing the proposed variance. Please feel free to contact staff
if you have any questions concerning the review comments in that memo.
Sincerely,
Jeanne A. Mabusth
Building & Zoning Administrator
JAM/ch
