RECOMMENDATION <br />1. Replace the current system (prohibition +variances) <br />2. Amend the Code to define two options for permitting retaining <br />walls (new and replacement) in lake yards as a permitted accessory <br />use or as a conditional use depending on the situation, as follows: <br />ā¯‘Administrative Zoning permit 4 limited approvals by Staff <br />ā¯‘Conditional Use Permit + Building Permit --> PC + Council review with Public Hearing and <br />clearly defined conditions for approval <br />
