Box 66 <br />Crystal Bay, MN 55323 <br />Dear Ms. Mabusth: <br />we the undersigned residents on Bay <br />the Cltv of Orono to provide city sewer facilities for all <br />rSsiSenLs as expeditiously as feasible, in order to comply with <br />the city’s comprehensive sewage disposal plan. <br />We request that the sewer pipes be installed on the ^ <br />properties east of our homes and adjoining County Road 15. <br />we are hopeful that competitive bidding and the routing of the <br />sLeriinras requested would result in a cost less than the <br />$18,500 per unit as originally estimated, inasmuch as Bay Ridge <br />Road would not be invaded. <br />we assume that lawns would be adequately repaired, that shrubs <br />would be replaced, or an allowance made therefore, that wood ftom <br />any downed trees would be removed, and that damaged fencing would <br />be replaced. <br />We assume that 11 this plan is not Implemented in 199«, the City <br />"!ll talVthe December 31, 1996 requirement lor completion ol <br />alternative on-site sewage disposal systems. <br />We request financial assistance from any ^«nds which may be <br />available for such purpose from the City of Orono, the Metropoli <br />Council, or other sources. <br />It is understood that when competitive bids have been obtained and <br />Plans and specifications have been formulated, there will be a <br />general review and discussion of the project at a council meeting. <br />This petition assumes action in respect of Bay Ridge Road ff^idents <br />only and we assume no responsibility for any cost or liability <br />related to Hartwood, or other areas. <br />Respectfully submitted.
