He noted the goal was to get a reduction in <br />hardcover. espedaUv in the 0-75* zone, but the City Engineers recommCTdation would be <br />required. Mabusth remarked that the plastic removal would result in a 5. # reducuon in <br />the 0-75’ setback area. <br />Ttere were no public comments. <br />Smith moved, Berg seconded, to approve application #2083 for the replacement of the <br />deck with the plastic as preciously described be removed and by the V <br />inspection on the west side be removed in the 0-75’ zone .t recommended by the Engineer. <br />Vote Ayes 5, Nays 0. <br />(#10) #2084 THOMAS R. It is po^ible to <br />narrow the sunroom to meet the side setback cf 30’ The room addition and attached <br />aaraue to the north side requires a 30’ setback and is proposed at 10’ The existing house <br />is atl4 ’ The existimz driveway would be relocated The existing garage and apron would <br />be removed The garage addition will be over the existing septic system, hence, this <br />project must wait until sewer is brought to the neighborhood. <br />Gafi'ron reported that the hardcover e.xisting in the 75-250’ zone would increase from <br />'>3 9^/0 to ^6 T/o for a 1.1% variance where 25»/o is allowed. The hardcover in the -50- <br />500’ zone Is under the 30% allowable. The only hardcover existing in the 0-75’ is a <br />stairway located in the Co Rd 51 right-ot-way. <br />MeC.-ne said it was oriuinallv their thought to have a sunroom continuing along the south <br />line ot the house about from the lot line, but it was slid to the nonh because of the <br />setback. Because of the lake views and the way the houses in the area sit on the lots, <br />McCune olaced the sunroom where proposed. McCune said by placing the garage <br />addiiion as proposed to the west, it minimizes the hardcover in the 75-250’ zone
