Goctten asked what the initial letter said. Gerhardson <br />said the original Ictto^ informed the resideiits that the rink had been monitored and <br />appeared to be used infrequently. They were informed that the City was considering not <br />maintaining the rink. Gerhardson added that the City does iu)t wish to see rinks on the <br />lake and is concerned with safety with lake rinks Hurr said she w^ in attendance at the <br />Park Comnassion meeting and saw no reason to send another letter. Jabbour said he <br />knew a couple of the neighbors would be disappointed but noted the difBculry in <br />maintaining rinks. <br />Gerhardson said the quality of ice at the City rinks were concentrated on last year’ and <br />produced quality ice.
