Suburban Alliance (formerly West Hennepin Human Services Planning <br />Board) has a history of involvement in the issues of affordable housing, c?conomic <br />development, and bringing needed services to our area. It was with great interest that <br />we watched recent developments of interest to our communities; specifically, passage <br />into law of the Livable Communities Act and the adoption of the Metropolitan <br />Council's Regional Blueprint <br />Suburban Alliance is committed to assisting those West Hennepin municipalities who <br />are interested in participating in the Livable Communities Act We are currently <br />talking to several foundations about underwriting our efforts to assist communities, <br />and so our involvement and assistance would be available to you at no cost.
