Based on the available dates, it is staffs recommendation to set the <br />initial public hearing for 7:00 P.M. on Wednesday. November 29. 1995 at the City <br />Council Chambers, and to set the reconvened hearing for 7:00 P.M. on Wednesday, <br />December 6. 1995 at the City Council Chambers, if a reconvened hearing is required. <br />The final tax levy payable in 1996 and the 1996 budget will then be adopted at a <br />subsequent hearing to be held at 7:00 P.M. on Monday, December 11, 1995, prior to the <br />regular council meeting on that date. <br />COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED: <br />Motion to set the initial Truth In Taxation public hearing for 7:00 P.M.. Wednesday, <br />November 29, 1995. at the Orono council chambers, and to set the reconvened hearing, if <br />required, for 7:00 P.M., Wednesday, December 6. 1995. at the Orono council chambers.
