The <br />attached memo explains each ot the elements of the contract proposal. The settlement proposal <br />is as follows; <br />1. <br />4. <br />Wages <br />1995: 2.75% increase <br />1996: 2.85% increase <br />Insurance Contribution <br />1995: $10/monih increase (from $291/month to S301/month) <br />1996; 50% of the average premium increase to a maximum of $15/month <br />Coun Time Standby Pay <br />One hour of pay at the regular rate if the officer is placed on standby and the trial <br />is cancelled or rescheduled. <br />Corporal Differential Pay <br />1995: 2.75% of regular pay (approximately S97/month) <br />1996; 3.0% of regular pay (approximately $106/month) <br />Part-time Officer Pay Schedule <br />The following pay schedule is applicable only when an otticer works more than <br />14 hours per week: <br />Step I Step 2 <br />SlLZlIir Sll.HSlir <br />COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED: <br />Step 3 <br />Si:.54.'hr <br />Step 4 <br />S13.19/hr <br />Step 5 <br />S13.87/hr <br />Step 6 <br />S14.60/hr <br />Motion to approve the 1995/1996 Police Officer Contract Settlement as s.t out above, and to <br />authorize the City Administrator to prepare and sign a contract refiecting the settlement package.
