The following is a <br />summary of the bids received. <br />Low Buffalo Bituminous, Inc. <br />U2 Hardrives, Inc. <br />#3 Wra. Mueller & Sons, Inc <br />#4 Valley Paving, Inc. <br />#5 DMJ Corporation <br />#6 Master Asphalt Co. <br />$131,982.50 <br />$132,477.23 <br />$139,667.25 <br />$146,001.25 <br />$164,946.50 <br />$172,608.75 <br />The bids received are high but the two low bidders are competitive. It does not appear that it <br />would be beneficisJ to rebid the project <br />The reconstniction was extended 100 feet beyond Ottens driveway to facilitate drainage and <br />clean up the ditch area. This section could be eiiminaled reducing the contract amount by <br />approximately $27,000.00. <br />We would recommend that the project be awarded to Buffalo Bituminous in the amount of <br />$131,982.50.
