Block 1, Stronghold A copy ot the <br />Resolution No 1479 and the sketches of the Stronghold site are attached Also submitted tor <br />your review find percolation tests results tor -580 <br />As vou may know 2‘^SO Fox Street is similarly configured to Stronghold, that is, it is a long, <br />narmw, unusual and unique lot with some wetlands The owners of Fox Run. the adjacent private <br />property to the west of 2580 Fox Street are not interested in allowing an additional driveway cut <br />from Fox Run, so our alternatives are either the existing driveway to serve three lots, or two <br />driveways from Fox Street to seive 2580. 2560 and the front lot The existing driveway has been <br />improved this month w ith the addition of 4" of Class 5 material followed by grading and <br />compacting <br />We believe that throimh caretlil planning we can avoid any net loss ot wetlands and in tact, <br />perhaps, create a net gain of wetlands, by allowing the existing driveway to serve the three lots <br />We also believe there will be no loss of trees Further. Orono’s Comprehensive Plan seems to <br />suppoit the serving of three residential units trom a private driveway <br />WE do not believe that the development of the south portion ot 2580 as a single tamily lot will <br />have any adverse atVects on the public safety, health and welfare, nor do we see any adverse <br />consec]ucnces to the neighbors or their property <br />We are interested in getting your input into the proper way to divide 2580 We appreciate your <br />time, vour etVorts. and your comments <br />Wm F Snv.lh Comoan es 6327 Camordge Street Mmreaootis.
