One commercial sign to be installed at the Shadywood location and to not exceed <br />the size of the signage allowed for the fabric shop use. <br />Planning Commission members noted the written comments from a neighboring property <br />owner in support of the application. Exhibit P. Staff also noted that in informal discussions with <br />neighboring property owners that they also wished to encourage the continued use of the <br />property as residential. It was also noted the location of the residential and commercial uses <br />within the structure have minimal impact on the immediate adjacent residential neighborhood. <br />All commercial use will continue to be operated from the Shadywood side of structure. <br />Wanning Commission Recommendation <br />The Planning Commission recommended unanimous approval of the conditional use <br />permit to allow the continued residential use of the property, a non-conforming use within the <br />B-4 zone. The enclosed approval resolution has been drafted per the findings and conditions of <br />the Planning Commission recommendation. <br />COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED: <br />To either deny, approve or amend the enclosed approval resolution.
