f.-L 2 <br />PETITION FOR ZONING CHANGE <br />TO ACCOMMODATE A BATTERED WOMEN’S SHELTER <br />AT 23S0 SHADYWOOD ROAD <br />Wt, the undersigned, support Westonka Inteiventlon Project ’s request to the City of Orono for a <br />zoning change that win aJlow Grace Baptist Church to be converted to a 20-bed shelter for woman <br />and children who are victims of domestic abuse. <br />The shelter wrin serve the greater Lake Minnetonka community of approximately 100,000 people <br />fiving in 14 cities and rmswcipalities including Ororw. Volunteers from Westonlw Intervention <br />Project have been providing support, education, and advocacy services to residents of Orono, <br />Mound. St. BonSacius. Minnestrista.
