The proposal to tear down the existing boathouse and stairway appears feasible <br />from an engineering standpoint. The existing boulder retaining walls need to be repaired <br />in several locauons. The plans call for stabilizing the slopes with crown vetch and erosion <br />control fabric which is appropriate. A portion of the wall continues beneath the boathouse. <br />Lntil the boathouse has been removed it 'will be difficult to determine the moat practical <br />way to restore the slopes and retaining walls.
