WETLANDS DELINEATION DOCUMENTATION <br />FOR MARY ULRICH. <br />PROJECT IN ORONO, MN <br />John Anderson WETLANDS DATA. Minneapolis, MN delineated and documented <br />wetlands boundaries on the subject property on March 31st, 1995 at the request of <br />Mary Ulrich This report provides information as to the dominant wetland <br />characteristics at the site as result of the investigation The parameters of the <br />wetland/upland boundaries are provided in each delineation report form as this <br />information is redundant below Please review documentation of these findings <br />(referenced in report and site plan) A sketch of the staked wetland boundaries is <br />included in the report <br />LOCATION <br />County Road #151 and Loma Linda Ave <br />City of Orono <br />Hennepin County. Minnesota <br />METHODOLOGY <br />Wetlands were identified and delineated using the Federal Manual for Identifying and <br />Delineating Jurisdictional Wetlands (Interagency Task Force on Wetland Delineation. <br />1989) and the 1987 Corps of Engineers Wetlands Delineation Manual (U S. Army <br />Corps of Engineers, 1987) Revisions to the former method have been proposed by <br />the U S. Environmental Protection Agency and are currently under review. Pending <br />the adoption of these revisions, the U S army Corps of Engineers is applying the 1987 <br />Corps Wetlands Delineation Manual The wetland and/or deep water habitat were <br />classified according to the methodologies set forth in Wetlands of the United States <br />(USFWS Circular 39, Shaw and Fredine. 1971) and Classification of Wetlands and <br />Deep water Habitats of the United States (FWS/OBS Publication 79/31 : Cowardin et <br />al.1979) <br />CHARACTERISTICS OF WETLANDS INVESTIGATED <br />Transect A,#l <br />This is a Type Three (PEM1C) wetland checksite. Dominant specie isfleed Canary <br />Grass (FACW+) Soils are Cordova, a wetland soil. Surface hydrology evidence is <br />met, as site is flooded. <br />Transect A,#11 <br />This is a Type One (PEM1 A) wetland checksite. Dominant species are Kentucky <br />Bluegrass (FAC-)and Reed Canary Grass (FACW+). Soils are Cordova, a wetland soil. <br />Surface hydrology is met. Site is in wetland drainage pattern.
