(Rev.1-91) <br />} <br />Section 2.08. Illegally Placed and Hazardous Structures.Subd. 1. Prohibition. Any temporary or permanent structure which is not currently licensed or permitted under the provisions of this code is illegal. Any temporary or permanent structure <br />which is an obstruction or hazard to navigation shall be so <br />declared by the sheriff. No person shall maintain or permit to <br />be maintained any illegal or hazardous structure owned by such <br />person. <br />Subd. 2. Notice of Removal. Any illegal or hazardous <br />structure may be removed from the Lake in accordance with the <br />provisions of this section. Upon notification by the sheriff of <br />the presence of an illegally placed structure in the Lake, the <br />Executive Director shall give personal written notice ^ <br />owner of the structure that it is illegally placed and thac if <br />the owner does not remove the structure within 48 hours of <br />receirt of the notice the district will do so. If the owner <br />cannot be found or determined after reasonable efforts, the <br />Executive Director may remove the structure "^^ial <br />shall publish notice of such removal <br />newspapL of the district. If a structure is, in the judgment of <br />the Sheriff, an imminent hazard to navigation and endangers the <br />life safety, or oroperty of users of the Lake, he may remove it <br />without notice and shall make reasonable efforts to determine the <br />owner and inform him of the removal. <br />Subd. 3.
