■X <br />J <br />The appUcation for license shall contain (a) the nane and <br />address of the aoolicant, (b) the description of the property on <br />which the facility is to be located, (c) the name and address of <br />-he owner of the premises, if different from the applicant, (d) <br />-he applicant is not the owner, an explanation of the interest <br />which thV apolicant has in the property, (e) a showing that all <br />requisite permits, licenses and approvals from the local munici- <br />naUtv have been obtained and that the requirements of any other <br />qcvernmental authority have been met, and (f) a plan showing the <br />design and location of the facility including all Boat Storage <br />units. The aoplication shall include such other information as <br />-he Executive* Director mav require to assist the Board in consid- <br />e’-ation of the application for the license. The application <br />shall also be accompanied by a license fee which shall be estab­ <br />lished from time-to-time by resolution of the Board; provioed <br />that no fee shall be required for applications tor launching <br />ramps owned and operated by municipalities or other governments, <br />aaencies which are available for use by the general public <br />without payment of fees or other charges. An additional deposit <br />in an amount established from time to t^me by resolution or -he <br />Board shall accomoany the application to cover legal, surveying, <br />engineering maintenance or other expenses incurred <br />by^the District. The Board shall 'be <br />against the deposit, and the unused portion <br />returned to the applicant. The application shall state that the <br />applicant agrees to reimourse the District 5^5 <br />ina enqineering, inspection, maintenance or other expenses <br />incurred^bv the District in excess of the amount of the <br />io such deposit shall be required in the case or <br />tions under Subdivision 13 of this Section or new .icense ^PPj-i <br />cations required by Subdivision 6 or this Section which do no <br />require a public hearing, unless a hearing is requested y <br />applicant pursuant to Section 1.06^ Subd. 12. <br />Subd. 3. issuance of License. Licenses required by this <br />sec-ion may be issued after a public hearing by the Boa.d. <br />”o«edincs for the issuance of a license and the granting of a <br />variance under Section 1.07 may be combined ^ ^ ^ <br />proceeding. The Board may impose conditions on -he g. <br />license, which conditions shall be in writ. <br />a) Review Criteria. In exercising its discretion in <br />granting or denying licenses, the Board may consider, among o- e. <br />things, the following; <br />1) Whether the proposed facility <br />the LMCD watercraft density classification <br />2) Whether the proposed facility will be structur­ <br />ally safe for use by the intended users. <br />3) Whether the facility will comply with the reg- <br />ulations contained in this ordinance. <br />- 20 -
