Motion carried. <br />Dr. Shutts, Orono High School Principal, presented the 1995-96 <br />registration guide and highlighted the changes that have been <br />incorporated, one of those being to increase the number of credits <br />required for graduation from 20 credits to 24 credits. He stated <br />that this recommendation was prepared with input from <br />representative faculty, students and parents and he provided <br />information on the circumstances that led to the development of the <br />proposed change. Dr. Shutts answered questions from the Board. <br />UPON MOTION by John Maresh, seconded by Martha Van de Ven, the <br />Board of Education approved the 1995-96 registration guide, <br />including proposed graduation requirements, as presented. <br />Motion carried. <br />UPON MOTION by Peg Swanson, seconded by Martha Van de Ven, <br />meeting was adjourned.
