JOB TASKS <br />(In priority order) <br />Law Enfrirr^ment <br />Reporting and processing criminal cases. <br />Fnllnw UP <br />Processing the paper work for my contact with students. This <br />includes case investigations and necessary paper work for <br />processing police reports. <br />Pre-Delinouent behavior <br />The identification and intervention of students who are showing <br />signs of resistiveness behavior for criminal violations and school <br />violations. <br />Documentaticn . <br />The process of tracking my activities and contacts. Preparing and <br />disseminating monthly reports. Completing miscellaneous paper <br />work related to the position not covered under case follow up. <br />Information <br />Provide information to students and faculty about police and ways <br />to access our services. <br />Counseling <br />Follow up with students who have been involved in minor or first <br />time criminal or rule violating behavior. Being available for <br />students to come to me with questions or problems. <br />Parent follow UD <br />Contacting parents of students that I have counseled to answer <br />their questions or address their concerns. <br />Meeting Attendance . <br />Attending meetings with school staff and students to contribute or <br />receive information about students. <br />Extra Curricular Activities <br />Attending sports events, dances, retreats. Youth in Action <br />activities as a police officer or chaperon. <br />classes <br />Provide classes to students in support of teachers requests or <br />make arrangements for other law enforcement staff to present <br />classes on related subjects. <br />Etudent Center <br />Be available at the Orono Student Center after school and on <br />special occasions.
