CITY of ORONO <br />RESOLLTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />NO. <br />RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION <br />ALEXANDER VONGRIES PARK COMMISSION <br />CO-CIIAIR AND COMMISSION MEMBER <br />WHEREAS, ilie City of Orono is a municipal organization existing under the <br />laws of llte State of Minnesota; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Orono relics on its citizens to participate in tlie orderly <br />development of the City and its parks; and <br />WHEREAS, Alexander Vongries became a Park Conunission Member on <br />November 10, 1988 and was appointed as Co-Chair in July 1990 and served on the Park <br />Commission in that position until December 9. 1994; and <br />WHEREAS, Alexander Vongries was always willing to participate and assist in <br />park projects with the goals of the City in mind. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of <br />Orono does hereby express its greatest appreciation for Alexander Vongries’ service and <br />dedication to the City of Orono as a member and Co-Chair of the Park Commission. <br />Adopted by the City Council of the City of Orono this 23rd day of January, 1995. <br />Attest: <br />Dorothy M.
