The other is, a review of the city*s programs, services, policies and procedures to <br />ensure compliance with ADA requirements. As part of the 1995 budget process. Council <br />authorized staff to move ahead with the ADA compliance audit. <br />Jti'ic Quarve-Peterson. Inc. is a consulting firm that has provided the ADA compliance audit <br />^fvi;es to a large number of cities and is highly recommended by those cities. A copy of the <br />pTWi ijjl which lists the specific tasks and costs is attached. The total cost is proposed not to <br />$4,775. <br />COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED: <br />Motion to approve the proposal from Julee Quarve-Peterson, Inc. to provide consulting services <br />for the purpose of assistance in complying with the laws pertaining to accessibility for all <br />persons with disabilities at a cost not to exceed $4,775.00, to be funded from the special projects <br />contingency account.
