You bet. Enough is enough. Do ar ^ of you <br />really understand that the “wells" are going dry? Did <br />the National elections on Nov. 8th not send a message <br />that all Federal, State, County, Municipal, School <br />Systems must meet required fiscal responsibilities that <br />is based on the taxpayers resources and abilities to <br />pay for your needs. Tax reductions? Never heard of it! <br />Our total taxes have increased 16X since we bought this <br />home in late 1993. County up 12.7X. City up 7%. School <br />District up 18.37X. Other Taxii.g Districts up 90%. And <br />these are increases for Just 1994 & 95. Our tax Increases <br />totalled $1000 over this period. That’s tf\e Increase, not <br />the total tax. <br />We retired In 1993 to this 1910 home on the lake. It was <br />our dream after many long years of hard wo.rk. At this <br />rate of tax increases we cannot stay here. Not on a fixed <br />income. So we say to you all, collectively; Do you really <br />have a clue to what your increasing budgets are doing to <br />the taxpayer? Do you care?
