The purpose of the review was too specifically to determine the <br /> long-term stability of the boulder wall near the staircase that exceeded 4' in height. <br /> The specific wall in question has been constructed to meet all minimum safety requirements as set <br /> forth in both AASHTO and NCMA. The wall has more than adequate depth for the given wall <br /> height. The wall is backfilled with sand, the proper fabric placed up the back of the�vall, and there <br /> is drain tile properly placed. The overall construction of the wall is outstanding, having very tight <br /> joint spacing and very aesthetically pleasing. <br /> It is my professional opinion that the wall meets all minimum engineering standards and will <br /> function safely as constructed. <br /> If you have any questions, please feel free to give me a call. <br /> Sin er y <br /> Michael R.
