He <br />felt that any establishment tnat would have <br />customers stopping for .my length off time <br />would not be able to survive because of the <br />limitevi parking. <br />Chairman Poisson expressed the desire to <br />table this natter until the Planning <br />Commission had received a statement from <br />tlje owner of the property that adequate <br />parking would be available for Mr. Jack's <br />operation. <br />Kullberg moved to deny the special use <br />permit because of the parking problem <br />that would undoubtedly be created. Motion <br />died for lack of a second. <br />Searles moved, Elliott seconded, that <br />approval be conditioned upon no full-scale <br />kitchen for the serving oif food be established <br />and the serving of food should be limited to <br />reheating pittas, sandwiches, and serving <br />soft drinks. Motion, Ayes (7) - Nays (1). <br />Kullberg Nay. r <br />The Planning Commission felt that there <br />should be provisions so the patrons will <br />know that there is parking in the rear of <br />the building. <br />The Planning Commission questioned the <br />street vacation proccv’ure which limits <br />vacations to situations where there is a <br />public purpose. The Ranstads explained that <br />they would like the Village to vacate Hill <br />Street west of Tonka Avenue so they could <br />construct.a garage on their property.
